Directions
To prepare the Citrus Syrup: Place the listed items inside a saucepan, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, agitating until the sugar dissolves. Next, take off the burner allowing it to cool fully. Pour to a sterilised bottle, close it and store in the refrigerator, it can be stored for about a month.
To make Cocktail Base: Pour all the spirits and syrup in a large bottle, allow it to infuse for an hour, then strain preferably using muslin, so it's completely strained.
To serve: Pour 85ml of the batch mix into your stirring glass packed with ice, and agitate carefully for a minute until cold. Pour into an frosted cocktail glass or equivalent, top with a few cranberries and complete it by giving it a light spray of mandarin oil over the drink.
